Once you are admitted to MU, you will receive information about logging in to myZou. When you log in to myZou for the first time, you will see a link in the left column called "E-Consent". Click the link and read the terms. Then click "I agree" or "I do not agree" at the bottom of the screen. Check out our step-by-step video.
Agreeing to E-Consent allows you to use the online myZou system to register for classes, make changes to and view your class schedule, view your student account and pay your monthly bill online. It also allows you to set up other people, such as parents, to pay your bill online. It allows you to set up direct deposit of your refunds so that you do not have to wait for a refund check to arrive in the mail. It also allows you to accept your financial aid online and view your pending financial aid. It allows you to receive email communications from MU.
If you choose not to E-Consent, you will have no online access to your Student Center in myZou. All communications will be done via mail, phone, or in person.
