* The International Student Services fee is assessed to all F-1 and J-1 visa status students enrolled for at least one credit hour.  The fee supports University compliance with the federally mandated Student Exchange Visitor Program and Information System and includes advising, document processing, and communications to international students.

This includes the immigration support services to MU international students, e.g. initial issuance of F/J visa certificates, advising services, and processing of required documentation such as extensions, change of levels, practical training, travel signatures, reduction in course load, change of status, reinstatement, social security letters, drivers license letters, and legal and training resources for ISSS staff.  The fee also supports our advocacy and outreach efforts in support of international students.

**For more information about the Sponsored Student Program fee, please visit the International Center’s website.

The University may elect to allow certain auxiliary services and campus departments to add charges to the student account for billing and payment purposes.  Any charges added to the student account for benefit of a department become subject to the policies of the Cashiers Office. In addition, certain financial holds will prohibit a student from being able to utilize the student charging privilege.
