Billing and Payments

Bills are generated on or around the 15th of each month and are due the 10th of the following month (or the next Monday if it falls on a weekend). Students have two options for making payments, the first is to pay the balance in full, which will avoid any finance charges, and the second is to make minimum payments.

First time student?

Sign up for eConsent to have full online access to your student account. With eConsent you will be able to have access to some of the following:

  • register for courses
  • make changes to your schedule
  • view your schedule
  • view your student account
  • manage your financial aid
  • access grades electronically
  • view appointment times, holds and class schedule
  • request a Student Academic Profile
  • update emergency contacts
  • communicate electronically with the Registrar, Cashiers, Financial Aid and other campus offices regarding your student information

Where are bills sent?

 If the student has granted eConsent, bills are only sent through the online billing system. The student will receive an email at their MU email address. If they have granted Additional Authorized Access, the user will receive an email notification of the new bill to which they can view online.

If the student has not granted eConsent, bills are sent to the student’s permanent address unless a separate billing address is provided. This can be updated through the student’s MyZou account.
